Landscape

It was a miserable Sabbath afternoon and I was on my way home from our Staff Worship Retreat. I was a great day filled with sincere hearts, love and amazing food. The weather just decided not to come to the party.

I was half way home when I remembered that I had my camera in the boot and that it was the perfect day to capture some moody clouds. So I stopped on the side of the road and took some pictures.

Newcastle at Night

For the first time ever, I went out and did some night photography with a friend, Michael James.

This is the result of our evening.

7.28 does Earth Hour

Avondale College has a program on friday nights for the students called 7.28. This week they decided participate in earth hour and create a very different worship atmosphere. No lights, no sound system, no powerpoint.

This was the best 7.28 program I have ever been to. I felt the praise and the worship from all of the students and most of all I felt Gods presences like never before.

Here are some images I was able to capture from the evening.

WOSE 2012 - Eyes Wide Open

I work at Macquarie College in Newcastle and as a religious school we have a week devoted to Chapels. WOSE stands for "Week Of Spiritual Emphasis".

This year the theme was "Eyes Wide Open" and our speaker was Ryan Moore.

Here is some of the images I was able to capture.

The final program on friday night involved some food, games, music and of course something insightful from Ryan.

And then, before it was all over, there was more music.

Vivienne's Farewell

One of my dear friends, Vivienne Calwell, has recently accepted a position in the Australian Voices. This means a very sad farewell from all her friends, in particular The Promise.

There were lots of happy smiling faces, laughter and silliness.

And how could the night pass without some singing.

And then there were the farewells. Some light-hearted, others not so much.

Goodbye Vivienne. We all love you very much and we will miss you terribly as you embark on a very exciting adventure.
